We have been very lucky to get a lovely invitation for Midsummer: we will be teaching tango on a yoga retreat on a beautiful island near Hanko! We get to train some astanga yoga and share some tango with new people! We are prepared: I got a new yoga mat today because it seems I have lost my old one... Pasi also got a new mat, a pink one!!! The next weekend 30.6.-1.7. there is a special event in Tampere. Fintage ry, the vintage lovers' association, is organizing a vintage weekend in Tallipiha. For two days we can live in 1940s atmosphere with music, clothes, food and dancing that fits the era! There will be vendors of clothes, hats and jewelry, and all sorts of activities from 11am to 5pm. Beautiful old cars, and war history re-enactors!!! And live music with two great orchestras: Seminola on Saturday and Trio Nautilus on Sunday! And there will be dancing!!! The bands will play from 3pm to 5pm, and before that at 2pm there will be a dance class by PyM! On Saturday we will teach foxtrot and Finnish tango, and on Sunday we will teach fusku/swing. So all dear dancer friends, put on your best summer dance outfits and come join the fun! And bring your non-dancing friends too to learn some slow, slow, quick, quick!!!
